New this season: cruise to the island of Dole

Enjoy a day out at Latvia’s largest and most beautiful island of Dole, only a hours boat trip from the centre of Riga down the river of Daugava.

Inhabited for centuries the island offers you the opportunity to see beautifully preserved Latvian countryside scenery as well as offering additional activities.
Spend time at the museum of Daugava located in the old 18^th century manor house and learn from exhibitions of how people lived at the shores of the river and altered them, visit the old fishermen’s yard or just get enchanted by the restored manors park with it’s marvelous surroundings and revealing dolomite outcrops near the shore.

The cruise also offers the opportunity to visit Katlakalns church which is a historical architectural monument of Latvia built in the classicism style, as well as the near-by natures reserve with 84 foreign plant species and Katlakalns pines, over 300 years old natural pine growth.
